Product Description
Almost eight million people across the United States and Canada tune in to John Tesh's syndicated show each week to hear him warmly impart "intelligence for your life" - tips on how to earn your boss's trust, fight jet lag, get out of debt, find your life's calling or even discover the power of prayer. As one major city newspaper referred to him, "He's like Oprah, but without the edge." With his staff of 10 full-time researchers, Tesh has uncovered a wealth of practical information and life-changing choices. He now combines that knowledge with some incredible personal experiences for this first book in what promises to be a successful ongoing series. In addition to a wide range of helpful tips, this book reveals what has guided him spiritually and professionally to act out his passions.
Street date coincides with PBS Special in March, 2008.

Common Sense December 26, 2008 Great Book about life in general. Had goals for life, like having a purpose and many words of wisdoms from various sources. Author incorporated personal experiences along with researched topics. For people who are just "stuck" where they are, or just want a little inspiration, I highly recommend it.
A must reading. December 26, 2008 A must reading for those that down in the dumps and not sure of themselfs.
John Tesh Book September 29, 2008 Book is interesting at points, but brief in most matters. The author needs to be more thourough in his pointers.
Tips you can use! September 12, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I didn't really know what to expect when I ordered this book but was pleasantly surprised. It was an easy fast read that had many useful tips. It was as though I could here Tesh reading the words to me.
I really got a feel for his personality in the writing which made it that much better.
My favorite subject by far was about finding your passion.I have read many career books and this sums it up in one short chapter.
I highly recommend it!!
(I wish it was longer which is the only reason it got 4 stars)
Good Stuff August 19, 2008 John Tesh has written an easy-to-digest little book which covers the basics of a happy life. He's a very down to earth man, adn his stories are both touching and credible. I hope this book is just the first in a "chicken soup" type series.
