As a dog lover, it's a great way to start my day with a Godly devotion that includes canine stories.

My husband and I have enjoyed this devotional book and the manner in which the writers have used analogies about events in their dogs lives to the writers relationship with their Master. The devotionals are very inspiring and pertient to events in most people's daily lives.

I laughed, I cried, and over again. The way they were able to let God lead them and take something so simple (a relationship with their pet) and it be turned into a devotional book that kept you wanting to read ahead and not read just that days devotion was a blessing! Its amazing what God can use if we are open to his plans. BIG Thank you to the authors for allowing God to use their abilities to captivate their readers... and even bigger thank you to God for creating our lovable, furry friends!! TWO big thumbs up :)
Profound yet warm and fuzzy May 24, 2008
This book was given to me by my daughter at Christmas. In all the busy activity, I put it away and forgot about it. A couple months ago, I came across it, started reading it, and fell in love with it. It is hard not to read it straight through, but I have refrained from doing that in order to let the truths of each story penetrate my mind and heart. I have purchased 4 additional copies for friends and relatives who love dogs as much as I do, and I'm sure I will buy more in the future for the same reason. Animal lovers, especially dog lovers, will enjoy seeing how our beloved pets can reflect the love and faithfulness of God. Buy it. You will love it.

We recently lost a dog due to wobbler's syndrome and were extremely distraught. A thoughtful friend sent us a copy Four Paws from Heaven and this wonderful book provided much comfort and understanding to me and my wife. It is written in the form of short devotionals which have biblical references and practical self-help ideas to aid people grieving the loss of a pet. We thought so much of the book and the ideas expressed in it, that we purchased several copies and have given them to friends who have lost pets. A copy of this book and a memorial to a local animal shelter provide a perfect token of sympathy to anyone who has lost a four legged friend.
